The Transition Network was founded in 2000 by two women - Charlotte Frank and Christine Millen - who set out to create a women's organization that would celebrate life after 50.

Realizing that this stage of life involves many transitions - in careers, family, health issues - they named their fledgling community The Transition Network.  Brick by brick, they began building a movement that would allow women to chart their own destinies while having a lasting impact on the world around them.

Today, the TTN concept of renewal and growth is embraced by thousands of women over 50.
