Program Director, Center for Women and Business, Bentley University

Trish Foster is the Program Director in the Center for Women and Business, where she oversees the center’s work with corporate partners, students, and faculty. She joined Bentley in 2008 as grant administrator for two U.S. Department of Education grant-funded projects — an international undergraduate dual degree program with European universities and an exchange and academic research program with two Brazilian schools. She also directed a grant-funded initiative to support Bentley’s faculty retirement program and managed Bentley’s international exchange student program. Trish is a member of the Alliance for Business Leadership and the Boston Steering Committee for 2020 Women on Boards, the national campaign to increase the number of women on US company boards to 20% or greater by the year 2020. She also serves on Bentley’s Gender Equity Committee.

Previously, Trish served as vice president of Ogilvy & Mather Public Relations and senior vice president of FleishmanHillard Public Relations, where she managed a team of 90 consultants and provided public relations counsel to businesses, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations.

She has been an active advocate for public education in Massachusetts, organizing several voter-support campaigns and serving on education advocacy and grant-awarding boards.

Trish’s personal experience in the corporate world, her dedication to students, and her birds-eye view of the complex work environments younger people (including her own children) are entering fuel her passion for and commitment to achieving gender balance and diversity in the workplace.

Trish holds a BS in Business from the University of Delaware.
