Program Director, Center for Women and Business, Bentley University

Trish Foster is the Program Director in the Center for Women and Business, where she oversees the center’s work with corporate partners, students, and faculty. She joined Bentley in 2008 as grant administrator for two U.S. Department of Education grant-funded projects — an international undergraduate dual degree program with European universities and an exchange and academic research program with two Brazilian schools. She also directed a grant-funded initiative to support Bentley’s faculty retirement program and managed Bentley’s international exchange student program. Trish is a member of the Alliance for Business Leadership and the Boston Steering Committee for 2020 Women on Boards, the national campaign to increase the number of women on US company boards to 20% or greater by the year 2020. She also serves on Bentley’s Gender Equity Committee.

Previously, Trish served as vice president of Ogilvy & Mather Public Relations and senior vice president of FleishmanHillard Public Relations, where she managed a team of 90 consultants and provided public relations counsel to businesses, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations.

She has been an active advocate for public education in Massachusetts, organizing several voter-support campaigns and serving on education advocacy and grant-awarding boards.

Trish’s personal experience in the corporate world, her dedication to students, and her birds-eye view of the complex work environments younger people (including her own children) are entering fuel her passion for and commitment to achieving gender balance and diversity in the workplace.

Trish holds a BS in Business from the University of Delaware.

Ellen M. Keiley is President of EMK Consulting Group, LLC, a firm specializing in marketing and business development coaching and consulting, training, and public relations services for individuals and professional services organizations.

Ellen has over 20 years’ experience working with law firms, serving in coaching, business development, marketing, training, and public relations roles for both Boston-based and international firms.

Ellen has written for Boston.com, Lawyers Weekly, New England In-house Journal, and other publications and appeared weekly on RadioBDC’s Global Business Hub segment.  She is a known authority on networking, personal brand building, marketing, and business development, has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and other media, and speaks at national conferences and events.  Additionally, Ellen has a column in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, “Ask Ellen,” and a podcast with Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly covering topics such as networking, marketing, and business development.

Ellen is active in the community and is the Past President of the National Association of Women MBAs Boston Professional Chapter, serves on the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Network Advisory Board, is a member of the American Heart Association Lawyers Have Heart Executive Committee, is a member of The Boston Club, serving as Chair of TBC’s Member Engagement Committee, serves as a Vice Chair for City Year’s Legal and Women’s Leadership Initiatives, has served on the United Way Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) Executive Committee and as a Co-Chair of the 2020 Women on Boards National Conversation on Board Diversity event.  She is also a Boston World Partnerships Connector and a member of the Open Hub Leadership Team.

Ellen is a graduate of Northeastern University summa cum laude and is a Certified Professional Coach, trained by the International Coaching Federation accredited Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). She is also a Certified Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). 

Ellen was recently recognized as the No. 1 Business Development Coach and her firm as the Top 2 Public Relations firms for law firms by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly for 2018.  She is a previous Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly “Excellence in Marketing” award recipient.  Ellen also received an Idealism in Action Award from City Year Boston.

Director Corporate Relations & Business Development, Simmons University

Nancy G. Leeser is the Director of Corporate Relations and Business Development at Simmons University. Her primary responsibility is securing sponsorships and fundraising for SimmonsLEADS, as well as assisting developing corporate relationships across the college. Prior to joining Simmons University, Nancy held multiple leadership positions in call center management and customer service for the high tech, ground transportation and bio-tech industries.

Nancy is the co-chair of the Boston Steering committee for 2020 Women on Boards. She is currently the chair of the board of directors for Tailored for Success. Nancy is an independent cabi Stylist. She is a past president of the International Customer Service Association, Greater Boston Chapter and was a founding board member for the Northeast Contact Center Forum. She has been a speaker at the ICMI Annual conference and AQPC Quality Forums. Nancy has a marketing degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA and Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Northeastern University.
