Interim Dean, School of Professional & Extended Services, American University

Professor Klein brings more than 30 years of IT and banking management experience to the classroom. Jill Klein is the faculty program director for the Professional MBA and Assistant Dean for Digital Initiatives and New Programs at the Kogod School of Business. She is passionate about exploiting information technology to enhance student learning and business outcomes. She sits on Cornell University’s President’s Council of Cornell Women and the Pitzer College Board of Trustees. She was previously CIO of Riggs Bank and managed her own IT consulting firm. Klein earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the Kogod School of Business.

Chief Marketing Officer, Chevy Chase Trust

As Chief Marketing Officer, Stacy is responsible for the firm’s overall marketing strategy including print and social media, advertising, publicity, event planning and outreach to professional advisors in the legal and accounting communities. She joined the firm in 2006 as a Wealth Advisor focused on new business development and advising clients on investment and wealth management strategies. Prior to joining Chevy Chase Trust, Stacy had her own financial services practice for 15 years providing investment, insurance, retirement and estate planning for wealthy individuals and law firms. She began her financial services career with the Wallace Financial Group in Bethesda, which later became the Commonwealth Financial Group.

Stacy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is Treasurer of Girls Up, a character-building and summer camp program for pre-teen girls and is co-chair of the Washington, D.C. steering committee of 2020 Women on Boards, a national campaign to increase the percentage of women on the boards of public companies to 20% by the year 2020. Stacy also serves on Suburban Hospital’s Community Benefit Advisory Council and was formerly on the Board of Trustees of Round House Theatre.

Ms. Mandi L. Wedin joined Washington REIT in 2015 as Senior Director, Asset Management, Office Portfolio. In 2016, Ms. Wedin assumed responsibility for the retail portfolio along with a portion of the office portfolio located in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Washington REIT, Ms. Wedin was a Vice President at ASB Real Estate Investments, working on the investments and the client services team. From 1998 to 2006, Ms. Wedin worked on the Asset Management team at Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, responsible for assets located across the country. Ms. Wedin graduated with a Master of Science in Real Estate from the John Hopkins University, and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages – French and Russian. Ms. Wedin is a board member of CREW Washington DC.
