Barbara Miller is a consumer equity specialist with 25 years of experience in the investment industry, both sell- and buy-side.  Since 2002, she has been a portfolio manager/analyst for Federated Kaufmann Funds, where she manages three equity mutual funds focused on growth stocks.  Prior to joining Federated, she was with Goldman Sachs and Alex, Brown & Sons for a collective ten years, after receiving her MBA at Harvard Business School.  Prior to business school, she worked at several public relations firms and earlier, as a small town broadcast journalist post-college at Brown University.  Ms. Miller lives and works in Manhattan.  Her extracurricular interests include angel investing/small business consulting, art collecting, global travel, cooking/food & wine, and exercise/cycling.

Interim CEO, Saving Jane: Transforming Human Trafficking Survivors into Leaders

Rosie is a leadership professional, with a decade of diverse experience in entrepreneurship, team leadership, storytelling and public speaking, non-profit and private sector fundraising, and marketing. Prior to her current position, she was Founder and Director, Marketing and Investor Relations of Lumera, an emerging investment firm focused on pension-driven infrastructure investment in the US.

Previously, she coached and consulted leaders based on her proprietary leadership models that drive participation and loyalty from their organizations’ stakeholders. Rosie transforms “executives”, “board members”, “teams”, “stakeholders” and “customers” into community members. Her research and experience support her philosophy that the most impactful businesses and organizations draw contribution from and deliver benefit to community members.

Rosie serves on the Board of Directors for New America Alliance, a national organization which advocates for Latino fund managers to have fair consideration in access to capital. She holds a leadership position in the NEXUScommunity, and is the Anchor Co-Chair for the NYC 2020 Women on Boards Annual Event. While Founder at Lumera, Rosie served on the Board of Directors for Bay Area Council, arguably the most powerful trade policy advocacy group in northern California, focused primarily on infrastructure development.

Over her 20 years' experiential research on building participatory communities around the world, and working internationally for the Burning Man organization, Rosie authored The Von Lila Framework on stakeholder engagement and building business ecosystems. She is also the creator and host of What Comes Now, a podcast about books and “everything that brings people together or pulls them apart.”

Through Rosie’s framework, she has been invited as a guest to The Pentagon and was a guest lecturer at the U.S. National Defense University. She is frequently sought for input on inclusion, diversity and collaboration topics.
