Christy Uffelman facilitates knowledge transfer through peer learning, coaching emerging leaders to design the career path (and life) of their dreams.

Christy has facilitated peer learning and coached leaders for almost a decade, helping them align talent strategy with business strategy. Christy launched the east coast office of Align Leadership in 2013 centering on women’s leadership development and Millennial/Gen Y initiatives – helping organizations like FedEx Ground, CONSOL Energy and Eat’n’Park engage and develop their emerging talent pipeline. On the cusp of the Millennial generation herself, Christy brings credibility and passion to organizations that want to better understand and leverage their young talent.

Christy’s passion is leadership development through cohort-based learning and this work earned her most recently the 2014 Woman of Achievement Award as well as the 2012 ATHENA Young Professional and YWCA Young Leader of the Year Awards. In 2008, the Association of General Contractors honored Christy’s innovative talent initiatives with their national Education Excellence Award. The Pittsburgh Human Resources Association awarded her work with the 2011 People Do Matter Award for excellence in learning and development, and in 2012, the Pittsburgh Business Times recognized Christy with their Human Resources Leadership Award.

A TED Speaker and NPR Millennial resource, Christy grew up in the City of Pittsburgh and graduated from Duquesne University with a B.A. in both Psychology and in Corporate Communication. She is a board certified ontological coach from Newfield and a certified Master Human Capital Strategist from the Human Capital Institute. Christy lives in Mt. Lebanon with her husband, Kevin, their two “kids”: a 12 year old daughter, Elaina, and a 2 year old white German Shepherd puppy named Theo.

For over a decade, Kristen has worked in finance operations and supervision. She currently serves as the Operations & Client Service Manager at Coghill Investment Strategies where she oversees all operations, focusing on the integration of the technical/operational functions with the overall client experience.

Kristen holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 registrations with Commonwealth Financial Network and has a B.A. in Public Relations from Capital University.

Prior to joining Coghill Investment Strategies, Kristen worked for The Bank of New York Mellon in their Wealth Management group. As a Regional Supervisor, she supervised the securities licenses of Registered Representatives all over the country and ensured they were compliant with all securities regulations. Before BNY Mellon, Kristen worked at the Pittsburgh‐ based firm, Allegheny Financial Group, where she managed the operations staff and worked with a team of over 50 advisors.

Kristen serves as the Pittsburgh Event Committee Chair of 2020 Women on Boards, a national organization dedicated to increasing the percentage of female talent on Fortune 1000 corporate boards. She is active with the Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way, His Place Community Center, and World Vision. She also leads the drama ministry at Bellevue Christian Church writing many of the productions herself. Kristen lives in the north hills of Pittsburgh with her husband, Brad, and their young son, Oliver.
